Santa Rosa is home to many cultural groups and the people are very receptive to tourists and visitors. Shopping and hiking are two of the most popular things to do in Santa Rosa. The average lows in the winter season range from 3-4°C (37-40°F). The rainiest months of the year are from December through January. In summer, the weather is sunny and pleasant for you to do various outdoor activities. You can also do a little road trip to other cities in the Bay Area to enjoy the beach.
The Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival, one of the main cultural highlights of Santa Rosa, is held every May annually. You can join and watch fluvial parades and other culminating activities during this festival.
