El Paso Marathon

Have you had enough of the marathon races where you will have to travel uphill? Look no further. The El Paso Marathon might be what you are looking for. The course starts in the Franklin Mountains at Transmountain Road. For the first 5 miles the road will take you downhill and after that, the elevation is relatively flat which makes for a fast paced race. The race will take you from the Franklin Mountains into the city center of El Paso at Union Plaza. The marathon is an annual event, taking place in February every year. There are also other races at the same time including a half-marathon and a 5k run & walk, so there is definitely something for every one!
