Numerous festivals and events are held in Bakersfield throughout the year. The Famoso Raceway, a drag racing event, takes place in March. The Kern County Fair, an annual agricultural show, is held in September and during the festival there’s tons of various things to do in Bakersfield and events to attend like concerts, rodeos, and agricultural expos.
