When to go to Albuquerque

The best time to visit Albuquerque is during the autumn season, September to November. In autumn, average temperature is at 24ºC (75ºF). The Salsa Fiesta and the New Mexico State Fair take place in September while October is when the popular Balloon Fiesta is held. June to August is the low travel season and is a good time for those who want to avoid the thick crowds and high expenses. However, be prepared for warm weather because temperatures during this time range at 27-34 °C (82-94 °F). The Duke City Marathon

The Duke City Marathon is a marathon institution in Albuquerque, having its 32 annual event in October 2015. The run starts in downtown Albuquerque in the civic center and ends in the same spot after seeing the amazing Sandia Mountains, the Paseo del Bosque Trail and the Huning Castle Neighborhood.
