Travel from Phuket to Bangkok

There are lots of cheap flights from Phuket to Bangkok and vice versa. You can also go by train and bus from the coastal city to the capital of Thailand.


When to go to Phuket

Phuket has a tropical climate, with its dry season from November to April and its rainy season from May to October. The temperatures range from 29 ℃ to 33 ℃ (84 °F -91 °F). Some people prefer to come during the rainy season because the prices are cheaper, as high season is between October and April and when the island is the busiest. Winter is great if you like scuba diving or swimming because the sea is a lot calmer. Regardless of when you visit the area there are always things to do in Phuket.

Laguna Phuket International Marathon

At Laguna Phuket International Marathon there is a wide range of different races to choose from. Just find the perfect one for you. Pick between a full marathon, a half-marathon, a 10.5k run, a 5k run, a 5k Community Walk and at last a 2k run for the kids. Keep in mind though that the 5k walk and the kids race are the only ones that aren't timed, the other ones are. The start and finish are at the same place, Laguna Phuket Resort. In between, you run through scenic local villages with pineapple and rubber plantations.
