When to go to Tenerife


Tenerife is known for warm but mild weather year-round, with average temperatures of 13-18°C (55-64°F) in winters and 24-28°C (75-82°F) in summers. The mild temperatures make for perfect outdoor activities, even in the winter. The northern part of the island experiences more rainfall than the remainder of the island, but the summer months from May to September are typically dry. Tenerife’s annual carnival season begins in February-March and attracts over 100,000 visitors each year.

Golf in Tenerife

Playing golf is one of the most common leisure activities on the paradise island of Tenerife. On the north side of the island, you will find the Buenavista Golf Club, a rocky coastline 18 hole course that is set up in the natural beauty of the area. From the club house you can see the entire course, and marvel in either where you have just been or where you will go. Also on the northern side of the island is Real Club de Golf, the second oldest club in Spain with breathtaking views of Teide.
