Beaches

The city is also famous for its sunny, golden-sand beaches. You can choose to go to the more popular Haeundae Beach or the less crowded Songjeong Beach and Gwangalli Beach.

 

Busan Tower

You can also hike the expansive Yongdusan Park to reach the Busan Tower, one of the tallest towers in South Korea. The top provides a commanding view of the entire city and the fences surrounding the tower are filled with love padlocks, just like in its more famous counterpart in Seoul, the Namsam Tower.

 

When to go to Busan

Busan features a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid, and rainy summers, slightly cold winters, and pleasant springs and autumns. The city’s annual temperatures range from an average January low of -0.6 °C (30.9 °F) to an average August high of 29.4 °C (84.9 °F).

A great time to visit Busan is the months of October and November, which compose the city’s autumn season. Clear skies and comfortable temperatures dominate the autumn weather and you can stroll along the scenic streets of Busan without breaking a sweat.
