Festivals in Bucharest

The International Opera Festival is held in May to June annually while the George Enescu Festival, a classical music celebration, is held in September every odd year. Because the Chinese community in Bucharest is now growing, there is also a host of Chinese cultural festivals and events held in the city all year round.

MARATHON

Bucharest Marathon

The Bucharest Marathon is an annual race in October in the capital of Romania. Apart from the main marathon, the event also features a half-marathon, wheelchair races at many different distances including a full marathon, a team relay race, a race for kids and a short 3k run around the Parliament Palace. The main course will take you through the city center of Bucharest and you will run past many of the great sights that the city has to offer including the National Defence University. the Alba-Julia Square and a trip around the National Arena. So put on your running shoes and register for this great Romanian tradition!

Water Parks in Bucharest - Sports and water fun at Water Park Bucharest

Water Park in Bucharest offers you lots of fun in forms of several pools and water slides and if you are into sports this place won’t disappoint you. There is a tennis court, a football field and a place to play volleyball available. The park consists out of different areas such as Happy Land, Kids Land, a VIP area and more. One thing to keep in mind before visiting the Water Park is that it is located just by the airport, which sadly makes it a bit noisy.
