The climate in Phnom Penh is tropical and it experiences two distinct seasons: the wet season and the dry season. The driest months are January and February while the rainiest months are September and October. Weather-wise, the best time to visit the country is between November and February because the weather is less humid and chances of rain are lower. This period happens to also be the peak period, therefore accommodation and travel prices are expected to slightly increase.

Golf in Phnom Penh

There are a couple of great 18 hole courses near Phnom Penh. Grand Phnom Penh Golf Club is the most centrally located and features an intelligently designed course by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. You can also play on Royal Cambodia Phnom Penh Golf Club, a challenging course with many bunkers and water-hazards. A little bit further away lies The Cambodia Golf & Country Club, which was the first golf club in Cambodia when it was built in 1996.
