Philadelphia Marathons

The annual Philadelphia Marathon takes place the third Sunday of November every year. You choose between running a full marathon, a half-marathon or an 8k run overlooking beautiful views through Fairmount Park, historic districts and the majestic Art Museum among other places. Philadelphia Marathon is appreciated for its mellow weather, flat terrain and spirited (and lots of) fans. The ½ Sauer ½ Kraut Marathon offers you a marathon where you don’t have to worryabout traffic, because there is no traffic at all. The course takes you along the Pennypack Creek, within the limits of Pennypack Park. All over it is a pretty simple, but beautiful, run.
