Lahore, one of the largest cities in Pakistan, is an ancient city that has preserved its rich legacy and culture. Old historic structures can still be seen standing and the Walled City can still be explored by wandering tourists. The city of Lahore features a semi-arid climate with four distinct seasons plus a rainy monsoon season. Temperatures throughout the year vary from an average low of 6 ºC (42.8 ºF) in January to an average high of 40 °C (104 °F) in June. July to September is the city’s monsoon season, with July being the wettest month.
Lahore hosts several festivals all year round and there’s always fun things to do in Lahore and something to celebrate. The most notable events in the city are the Basant and the Literary Festival in February, the Mela Chiraghan in March, and the National Horse & Cattle Show in November.
