The humid subtropical climate of Islamabad features five different seasons: the winter season covers November through February; the spring season runs from March to April; summer follows in the months of May and June; July and August compose the rainy monsoon season; and September to October is the autumn season. Annual temperatures in the city range from an average temperature of 13°C (55°F) in the coldest month of January to 38°C (100°F) in the hottest month of June.
One of the most awaited events in the city is the Islamabad Fashion Week which happens in different seasons each year.
