Osaka Marathons

Every year Osaka in Japan hosts the Osaka Marathon in late October. It is in the classic distance of about 42K (26 miles) and welcomes both men and women. For those who don't think that the classic distance is enough there is also a challenge run at 8.8K (5.5 miles). Ladies also have a marathon all to themselves, the Osaka International Ladies Marathon, which is held at the end of January every year.

Golf in Osaka

There are a couple of great golf courses near Osaka. In the western outskirts of the city you can find the Takarazuka Golf Club, Nishinomiya Country Club and Kobe Golf Club. On the other side of the big city you can find the Hirakata Kokusai Golf Club and to the north the Naruo Golf Club, Daitakarazuka Golf Club and many more.
