MARATHON

Napa Valley Marathon

The Napa Valley Marathon starts in Calistoga on the Silverado Trail and follows a one way route towards Napa. You will pass the many different small towns along the way, including Rutherford, Oakville and Yountville, all the while making your way downhill, making it a quite pleasant marathon not only in that it is downhill but also that the scenery in this area is remarkable. The race is held annually since 1973 in the month of March and features several shorter distances meaning that you can take part in the event even if you aren't a serious marathon runner.
