The Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou is a great example of the architecture characteristic of southern Morocco. Ksars are villages bordered by defensive walls and crowded with houses and some community areas, and Ait-Ben-Haddou is the most famous one of them. For this reason, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ksar of Alt-Ben-Haddou is definitely worth a visit, with stunning views from the top. Keep in mind that there isn’t a lot of information in the ksar, so you should do some research previously.
