When to go to Medellin

Medellin experiences a tropical rainforest climate bordering on tropical monsoon and subtropical highland climates. Even though the city lies near the equator, its high altitude mitigates the heat and gives the city a slightly cool climate all year round. Average temperatures vary little throughout the year and stay constant at 15 to 30 °C (59 to 86 °F), with plenty of rain every month.

If you want to have the best paragliding experience in Medellin, plan your holiday around December to February. It is the city’s summer season and chances of rain are lower compared to the rest of the year.
