Golf in Manama

While there are no clubs in the city, there is one about 20 minutes away, and it is well worth the drive if you want to play a round of golf as it is the only one in the area. It is called The Royal Golf Club at Riffa Views and was designed by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie. They have used the natural landscape well, as the undulating fairways are often surrounded by huge bunkers, covering most of the course. The many obstacles on the course makes it a rather difficult one, with many opportunities to take risks or play safe. Challenge yourself in the Bahraini desert!
