Golf in Penang

There are a couple of great golf courses near Penang. But first, you have to decide if you want to play golf on the beautiful island of Pulau Pinang or over on the mainland. On the island you will find the Penang Golf Club, formerly known as Bukit Jambul Golf Club. It is an 18 hole championship course which welcomes both locals and traveling golfers looking for a great woodland round of golf. Over on the mainland, the Penang Golf Resort shines with its four 9 hole courses which you can mix and match to create your round of golf. It is located a bit north of the city, so you probably want to rent a car if you are going here.
