Another tourist attraction in Kingston is the National Gallery of Jamaica, a museum that exhibits different Jamaican artworks throughout the country’s history.


Bob Marley Museum

You can also visit the Bob Marley Museum, the home and recording studio of the famous musician until he passed away in 1981. Tons of personal belongings and memorabilia can be seen in this museum.

The Jamaica Carnival

You can join the Jamaica Carnival if you plan your holiday around the Lenten Season, from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. This is the biggest carnival in the country and there’s tons of things to do in Kingston during the festival. You can watch pageants, join beach parties, and witness street parades.

Golf in Kingston

There are two 18 hole golf courses near Kingston. Closest is Constant Spring Golf Club, an 18 hole course built in 1920 by Scottish architect Stanley Thompson. It is a challenging course with narrow fairways demanding precise shots for you not to spend your round of golf in the rough. The other course, located a bit further away is called Caymanas Golf & Country Club and features an 18 hole course that is considered by many to one of the best in the Caribbean.
