Jakarta features a tropical monsoon kind of climate, which means it has wet and dry seasons, with the wet season lasting from November to June. The temperature doesn’t vary much during the year and averages 24.2 Celsius (75.6F) in January to a high of 33 Celsius (91F) in September.

The Jakarta marathon, is held by the Ministry of Tourism. The marathon is featuring a full and half marathon, as well as a 10k, 5k and a run for children, as well as music and arts performed on the main stage.
