Golf in Gaborone

There is only one golf club near Gaborone: Gaborone Golf Club. It is an 18 hole course, designed in African sub-tropical woodland (or bushveld) style. The Diacore Gaborone Marathon

The Gaborone marathon is an annual race that takes place around April each year. The race takes you on a run through the city and past some of the citys most beautiful and famous sights. Running the marathon is not only a fun experience, you are also contributing to a good cause. The Diacore Gaborone Marathon is actually Botswanas biggest charity run and all the proceeds from the race are donated to charity. The marathon is an IAAF Comrades certified marathon as well as an Olympic qualifying race.
