The Limoges Aquarium is a fun place to bring the family to. It opened in 1993 and has a wide variety of fishes and marine animals, including sharks and rays. The place also offers behind-the-scene tours.




Parc Naturel

Enjoying the nature and the beautiful surroundings is one of the best things to do in Limoges and one of the best camping sites in Limoges is Parc Naturel. It features a lake and a forest, plus complete facilities and amenities for fishing, biking, and walking.

Fishing enthusiasts may come in February for an ice fishing festival. If you like tap dancing, there is a tap dancing festival in the city in June.

Limoges Opera House

Opéra de Limoges

Inaugurated in March 1963, Opéra de Limoges is the main venue for opera in Limoges. The building was designed by local architect Pierre Sonrel and seats 1484 people. It is located in the center of Limoges attached to Limoges Conservatory, which is also a nice place to visit when you are strolling around the area. While opera is the main interest of Opéra de Limoges, the program is also open to many other performing arts including dance, theater and circus arts. In other words, it is a perfect place to visit when you are in need of a culture boost.
