Sports lovers can head to Parc des Sports Aguilera and watch a rugby match played by the local rugby union club, Biarritz Olympique. This team is one of the most prominent rugby union clubs in France, having played at the Heineken Cup and the Top 14.

In April, the city hosts the Les Fetes Music Festival, a huge event that lasts for four days. The famous Biarritz Surf Festival is held every July and is participated by professional and amateur surfers from all over the globe. It has tandem surfing, bodysurfing, long boards, and other surfing categories. Plus, there is fun through music, dancing and other beach-side entertainment.

In September, the three-week-long festival Le Temps d’Aimer features modern dance and ballet performances in local churches, parks, and auditoriums.
