UNESCO World Heritage Sites Avignon - Historic Centre of Avignon: Papal Palace, Episcopal Ensemble and Avignon Bridge

Together with the remains of the 12th-century bridge over the Rhone River, the episcopal ensemble and the rest of Avignon’s Old Town, the site belongs to UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1995.

Avignon Opera House

Opéra d'Avignon

Originally built in 1825 and later rebuilt after being burnt down in the disastrous fires in 1846, this French opera house has had continuous great performances for almost two centuries. It is located on 1 Rue Racine in central Avignon. While you are in the area, we also recommend that you visit Maison Jean Vilar, an exhibition venue that is located close by.

Another great club is the Golf de Châteaublanc, featuring a challenging 18 hole course and an easier 9 hole course, both with amazing scenery.
