UNESCO World Heritage Sites Paphos

Welcome to Paphos, the city of the Greek goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite. Situated in the District of Paphos, Cyprus, the archaeological site consists on the town of Kato Paphos and the village of Kouklia, and its antiquity and importance in poetry and culture have placed Paphos on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. In Kato Paphos you will find the remains of Aphrodite’s Sacred City Nea Paphos, famous for its mosaics, among the most beautiful on Earth, showing both mythological and everyday life scenes. In the same town, the Kato Paphos Necropolis is found, that is, the tombs of the kings.
