Things to do in Cuba

Travel to Cuba

Cuba is known for its signature style. That includes pastel colored buildings, Cuban cigars and American cars from bygone eras parallel parked in Havana’s streets. Those cars maintain their polished gloss due to love and handyman skills that are passed down from generation to generation. Under the current government, it is sometimes difficult to get access to goods from overseas and for this reason, Cubans are pretty ingenious when it comes to fixing things. What that means when you travel to Cuba, you discover not only a wonderfully unique island in the Caribbean, but also a place filled with magic in the details. The music of Cuba is world renowned. Cuban cuisine is delicious. The melange of influences makes this island inimitable. Travel to Cuba and travel to a holiday wonderland.

Havana

Havana is the capital city, province, major port, and leading commercial centre of Cuba. It was founded in 1515 by the Spanish. In more recent times, Havana is well known for its splendid cigars, nightlife, and vintage American cars.

Havana is located very close to the Tropic of Cancer which gives it a subtropical climate. Average temperatures range from 22 °C (72 °F) in January to 28 °C (82 °F) in August. Hurricanes occasionally strike the island of Cuba, but they ordinarily hit the south coast and damage in Havana has been less than elsewhere in the country. Read more about Havana…
