UNESCO World Heritage Sites Lijiang - Old Town of Lijiang

The Old Town of Lijiang, famous for its waterways and bridges, became part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1997. The town’s narrow streets and old buildings blend elements from several cultures, as it was a key site commercially and strategically. Lijiang ski vacations - Visit the highest ski resort in China

About 12 miles (20 km) away from Lijiang you can find the highest ski resort in China at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Ski Resort. As long as you have the ability to adjust after the high altitude this is a very good spot for beginner and intermediate skiers. Here you can enjoy scenic views over the rivers, modern glaciers scattering around and alpine lakes while sliding down the slopes. The season starts in November and lasts until early May.
