Golf in Yangon

There are four golf courses in the surrounding area of Yangon. Myanmar Golf Club is the most centrally located 18 hole course in Yangon and features long fairways, framed by trees and bunkers. If you want a longer day of golf you can head to Yangon City Golf Resort's 36 hole golf course. The remaining two courses are located a bit outside of Yangon: Pun Hlaing Golf Club and Yangon Golf Club.

Yangon Marathon

The Yangon Marathon is held annually in the month of January in the Myanmar city of Yangon. The race features a main marathon, a half-marathon, a 10k and a 3k. In other words, there are many different options so that you can take part in the event no matter your fitness level. The course will take you along the scenic Yangon River which is known for its boat markets. You will also run past many other sights, such as the Inya Lake, the Karaweik Palace and the Sule Pagoda.
