UNESCO World Heritage Sites Bulawayo - Khami Ruins National Monument

Khami was the capital of the Torwa dynasty, which appeared after the collapse of the Great Zimbabwe Kingdom during the 15th century and until its abandonment in the 19th century. Khami is a very interesting archaeological site, as some findings have shown such as many Chinese and European objects, suggesting that the city was at some point a major trading centre. For their value, the Khami ruins are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Apart from the ruins, be ready to spot many birds and even some monkeys and antelopes!
