There are over 30 golf courses near Brisbane, so you can easily find one or more that will suit you during your stay here. The most centrally located one is called Victoria Park Golf Complex where you can play on a great 18 hole course which has been voted as one of the best public courses in Australia. MARATHON

Brisbane Marathon

Located on the east coast of Australia, Brisbane is the capital of the Queenstown province and home to the Brisbane Marathon Festival. Apart from the main event the festival also features a half-marathon, a 10k, a 5k and a kids mini-marathon, making it a perfect event to bring your kids and get them involved in healthy activites. This urban marathon starts and ends in the Botanic Gardens after a tour around the city following the beautiful Brisbane River.
