UNESCO World Heritage Sites Bridgetown Barbados - Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison

Bridgetown has a lot to offer you apart from its amazing beaches. In case you didn’t know, historic Bridgetown and its Garrison is a British colonial city from the 17th century. It was a key spot for commerce, but also for the transmission of technology and science. For these reasons, UNESCO added it to the World Heritage List in 2011.
