Zoological Park of Sao Paulo

The largest zoo in Brazil is located in the city and is called the Zoological Park of Sao Paulo. Hectares upon hectares of land serve as the natural habitat of over 3,200 animals that represent more than 400 different species.

 

Football

Because football is one of the most popular sports in Sao Paulo and the entire Brazil, there are several stadiums housed in the city. Some of the most visited sports venues here are the Morumbi Stadium, Caninde Stadium, and Rua Javari Stadium.

 

Sao Paulo Museum of Art

The Sao Paulo Museum of Art exhibits an extensive collection of paintings and other works of art that are gathered from around the world.

 

Cool of by the beach

Although the city doesn’t have accessible beaches within its limits, the nearest coastal area is just an hour’s drive away. The Paulista Coast is filled with lots of beachfront resorts and properties where you can dine and stay for the night.

 

When to go to Sao Paulo

The summer season in Sao Paulo is from November through March while the winter season runs from May to September. In summer, average temperatures range from 17 to 28°C (63 to 82°F). On the other hand, winter temperatures average from 11 to 23 °C (52 to 73°F).

The peak travel season in Sao Paulo is from December through February because it provides the most ideal beach weather.

GOLF

Golf in São Paulo

There are quite a few courses near the busy city of São Paulo. The most centrally located is the appropriately named São Paulo Golf Club, a historic course that has a close link to the old São Paulo as it was constructed in the late 19th century. In the northerns outskirts of the city you will find the Arujá Golf Club, designed by and for the Japanese community residing in São Paulo. It is a very diverse course, as it combines flat, easy holes with extreme elevation on some holes. A course for those who are looking for a challenge! Last but not least, in the southern outskirts of the city you will find the Guarapiranga Golf & Country Club, a course that challenges you with how long it is, so be prepared to hit some long drives!
