Berlin is the capital of Germany and famous for being the site of the now fallen Berlin Wall which formerly separated the city into two sections before Germany united in 1989, when the wall “fell” and the two sides became one again. Classical Music lover? Don’t miss the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra performances, an award winning outfit that represents its city well. Art of all sorts runs rampant through the city and is home to many famous artists.

It does not matter what time of year you visit the capital of Germany, there are always things to do in Berlin.
Berlin in May through September features temperatures in the mid-20s (70 ℉); a nice time to visit outside events like the Carnival of Cultures in June- a four day open holiday with for drink, music, and more. You can attend a Beer Festival in August, or witness or participate in the Berlin Marathon in September.
In the winter, you can take in the famous Christmas Market and get lower prices on hotels and airfare during this time frame. Bring warm clothing since the temperatures average between 6 and 2 degrees below zero (20-30 ℉).
Another great attraction is the Berlin International Film Festival in February which gives film buffs a chance to see the competing short films, documentaries, and more.
