August sees the huge Darwin Festival, one of the biggest cultural attractions in the city. During the dry season, you can experience watching a film under the stars at the Deckchair Cinema. Every night from April through November, Darwin Harbour is adorned with deck chairs and features a selection of popular Australian and foreign movies.
