When To Go Canberra

Australia’s climate is generally hot during most parts of the year. A good time to visit Canberra would be between December and March, Australian summer, where they would experience a warm climate. This would be nice weather for sight-seeing and strolling along the city.

Between July and August is their winter period where the mornings are just slightly above 10 degrees Celsius (50º F) and chilly. Temperatures drop at night to a freezing temperature and below.

MARATHON

Canberra Marathon

The Canberra Marathon is held annually in April each year in the capital of Australia. The marathon event features several different distances over two days, including the main marathon, a half-marathon, shorter distances, and for the hardcore running enthusiast, a so called "Ultra Marathon", which is a longer, 50k version of a marathon. The race starts and finishes near the Parliament House and will then take you through most of the inner city of Canberra along the Lake Burley Griffin. There are several great options for golf in Canberra. The Federal Golf Club is in the top 100 in Australia, featuring a varied course for both professionals as well as amateur golfers.
