Aspen ski vacations - Big variety, only minutes apart

In Aspen you have four unique ski resorts to choose from, located just a few minutes away from each other. Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass together with downtown Aspen creates huge potential for the perfect vacation. Not many destinations have as big of a variety as the ones you can find in Aspen, just a couple of minutes away from each other. Together the four resorts offer eight parks with 336 different trails and 43 lifts. If you are a beginner, you should visit Buttermilk or Snowmass. Here you will find lots of beginner and kid- friendly facilities and there are also special “learn to ski” zones created for both adults and children. Snowmass is often called an intermediate’s heaven since most of the terrain is well groomed and welcoming.  Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highland on the other hand, are known for their expert skiing. Not the best place for beginners since there aren’t any green trails there. At Aspen Mountain you can experience long, steep mogul runs and challenging fall- line.
