June to August is the low travel season and is a good time for those who want to avoid the thick crowds and high expenses. However, be prepared for warm weather because temperatures during this time range at 27-34 °C (82-94 °F). Events like the International Flamenco Festival and Albuquerque Folk Festival take place in June.

The Duke City Marathon

The Duke City Marathon is a marathon institution in Albuquerque, having its 32 annual event in October 2015.
